Berry Oakley… Founding member and bass player with The Allman Brothers Band would have been 69 today.
He died in a motorcycle accident on November 11th 1972, almost a year to the day after his best friend Duane Allman… in very near the same place. He was only 24.
Check out this performance… Just days before his untimely death… He was amazing!

Like any proud Dad… when you get the chance to show off your daughter… you DO.
At a recent concert in Las Vegas… Jon Bon Jovi brought his daughter Stephanie Rose up on stage during the song that he wrote for her when she was only 7… “I’ve Got The Girl” She’s 23 now!
They danced on-stage to the song… it reminded me a little of Springsteen & Courtney Cox, but it was pretty awesome!
Check it out!

See? They were all originally brunettes!
Interestingly enough… the commercial NEVER AIRED!
Guitarist Andy Summers says that it was puzzling, because only a year later, The Police were one of the biggest bands in the world… Why Wrigley never capitalized on it is a mystery… [More]

Phil Collins turned 66 yesterday… and proves he’s a good Dad… Check him out getting onstage with his SON at his Middle School Band performance! The kid’s got a LOT of pressure on him with the guy who wrote that famous drum riff standing right in front of him!
Fast Forward to about 2:20 to get past the introduction…
This was actually Phil’s first live performance since coming out of “health-issue retirement” in in 2014!
